We arrived in St Ives to glorious blue sky and a lovely warm temperature. The next morning, after drawing back the curtains, we groaned about the pure grey sky but set off for our day out anyway, hopeful that the blue would return.
Beginning by strolling along the beach, which lead to another beach, and another… they were all quite deserted and the soft sand was lovely. Carlos then found a path, which we followed. This turned out to be The Costal Path, which we followed and saw beautiful beaches, which we then explored. It was such a great find! The weather changed every few minutes and in the end, the blue sky came back! Despite the grey sky for most of the day, the water was still amazingly blue and clear…
We sat for a while and watched this amazing boat, which we imaged was going on a great expedition. The water was also full of paddle boarders.
After clambering down the rocks, we were rewarded with the almost empty beach, and spent a while admiring the beautiful black patterns in the sand.
Such a wonderful walk with great views and even better beaches to spend the day on. Have you been to St Ives?
