Hello! It’s so nice to be real-time blogging again! I had all of my posts pre-written for the past two weeks, but here I am again. I landed back in Santiago, from London, on Saturday and am ready to get right back into reading all of your very wanderful posts.
Before going home to London, I thought I’d have posts galore to write up when I get home, but in the end I’ve decided to write just one summary post because I indulged all my time in seeing family and friends and really didn’t take my camera out as much as I would have thought.
::So, here are my two weeks in London, in verbs::
Feeling at home when spying the most amazing scenes from my plane into Heathrow. I can’t quite believe how close and detailed I got to see so many famous London landmarks, it was pretty special!
Gazing up at the sky from the new Crossrail Place Roof Garden, it was especially nice as there was barely anybody else there!
Enjoying seeing all of the pretty and unusual houses that London boasts, I love the variety of architecture in the city, both old and new and how they fit along side each other.
Admiring London from it’s newest viewpoint at The Tate Modern, and it sure looked pretty, even on a grey day!
Snapping away at pretty flowers, because summer flowers just instantly mean happy, especially those in my parent’s garden.
Culturing around and soaking up lots of art in Hyde Park, The Science Museum, The Royal Geographical Society and beyond.
Smiling at the sight of the Hyde Park parakeets almost camouflaged but still visible.
Tasting Mast chocolate and enjoying the window display too, especially because it reflected the street art opposite.
Walking around new parts of Shoreditch, where I haven’t been before. It’s amazing what you can find when you just wander a few streets further.
Looking up at the bright blue sky that shone down on London for my second week there. I was so lucky to be there for the heatwave and get a week of summer. I can’t believe it even reached 33!
Finding street art, always.
Polaroid-ing. One of my friends gave me a polaroid for my birthday so I started to snap away and safe to say, I love it!
Counting my steps on my new FitBit 🙂
And of course… the very best part, Soaking up every moment with my family and friends.
What a great two weeks that was! 😀 So, what have you been up to?
