We look at the sky each and everyday; it tells us what time it is, gives us a clue about the temperature and the weather ahead for the day and it something we stare at when we are somewhere new. Isn’t it often the first thing you look at when you draw back the curtains?
Clouds are not something associated with beauty, if we say we went somewhere and it was ‘cloudy’, it doesn’t conjure up images of picturesque landscapes. But, clouds in all of their shapes, colours, forms and textures, can be nature at its best.
Clouds over mountains in Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia, ChileFlying through the fluffiest of clouds in Canaima National Park, Venezuela
Clouds that look as if they are painted onto a canvas in Otres 2, Cambodia

I have to say….I’m a cloud lover like you! They come in so many shapes, sizes, and colors. Love watching them change throughout the day☁️
Definitely! Th good thing here in Santiago is when they are accompanied by snowy mountains – so pretty! 😀
Oh I’m sure!😄
I find them so peaceful to watch. Great contrast of shots here Marcella. XX

Thanks Jules! Clouds can be such a point of peace!
You are so good at these kinds of photo category posts! And yes, I agree- when someone says ‘cloudy’ we don’t automatically think of beautiful skies like this, but many have you proved us wrong! I actually really like some clouds in the sky, especially for a sunset! 😀
Sunset clouds are the best!
And thank you!! I’m not sure how many more themes I’ll be able to think of, it’s getting harder!
Oh and I weirdly posted on Instagram about clouds today- we’re on the same wavelength hehe
Indeed we are! Loved those moving clouds ❤
I love having clouds in my shots, they add so much drama!
Totally agree! They complete them.
Absolutely gorg – love the salt flats photo! And you are so right – “cloudy’ weather sooo gets the short stick (esp in the UK!) but sometime clouds are the mooost gorgeous part!
Definitely! 😉 Though sometimes the UK could do with less grey ones, haha!
Absolutely ridiculously gorgeous! I love clouds and the gorgeous things they can do to play up a sunrise or sunset. Do you sell prints by any chance? Would LOVE one of those mountain views!
Thanks so much Kristen! And that’s a huuuuge compliment: I’ve never sold any prints but can definitely do! Let me know which ones you’d be interested in and we can discuss: clemandmarcella@gmail.com
